  After a lazy day, I felt even lazier and decided to Door Dash some food. CP had some interesting dishes I thought I'd try and maybe take some to work for lunch tomorrow.
  
  I ordered the spicy shrimp, the lobster roll, and some tuna sashimi. I had a bit of each before I was completely full. My favorite was the spicy shrimp, which was hot and spicy. It also came with vegetables and rice on the side. They also packed the bag with edamame to start and 2 different kinds of those yummy Chinese cookies- one a fortune cookie and one those cookies with almonds.
  
  Delivery was pretty fast and the food was delicious. I'm surprised I've never tried this place before for dinner but I'd for sure eat their food again.

  CP Restaurant & Lounge is quickly becoming​ a favorite haunt for me in Newport Beach's Mariner Mile.
  
  This Bar & Restaurant is conveniently​ located less than a block away from my hair stylist which makes it a perfect stop to grab a libation or two after a hair cut. The service is superb​, notably by Cindy (who must be a manager or owner as her devotedness​ is far beyond any employee I recall in recent memory).
  
  Sports fans will be at home in the tremendous​ Bar area thanks to the many large flatscreens showcasing whatever you care to see. They also have a full kitchen available although I can only attest to the quality of the Edamame at this point.
  
  I will try to make a point of dining at CP Restaurant & Lounge soon to report on the kitchen but in the​ meantime,​​ I have no problem offering a 4-Star review to Cindy and company.

  Just booked a large party at this venue, working with Cindy one of the owners. Shes been helpful & responsive over the phone and meeting in person, so far we are happy with the resources, menu, & pricing of the venue! (Will update our review after the event on Oct 25th...!)

  Came here because I was interested In the advertised assortment on the menu of Mandarin, Sushi, burger and seafood. We came as a big group/family. Their selection was not as assorted as I thought it would be. 2 burgers on the menu hardly makes this a burger joint. It's basically a small Chinese restaurant that tries to sell itself as an upscale lounge. The linens had a bad odor to them as if they were washed in dirty water. I came here on a Wednesday evening m. Only 4 other tables and service was terrible. We asked for water refills multiple times and enough utensils for us multiple times. Food tasted bland. I would best describe it as watered down versions of the dishes I am used to. I have never tasted a fortune cookie that tasted bland either. I would not recommend this place.

  Food is average, my husband and son got bit from mosquitos at the table.
  They charged for rice with our entree's, very strange for a Chinese Restaurant.
  Won't ever go back.
